I generate abstract images and concepts which have a clean 'modern' feel together with pieces that are more complex in nature. Abstract and 'digital expressionism' might also be an appropriate description.
My passion however is for original, imaginative and creative artwork that give the viewer plenty to look at beyond the initial impression and emotion created by the piece.
"I create original artwork pieces principally using mixed media, acrylics, and digital art techniques. My style is largely abstract and impressionistic, and I use strong, bold and vibrant colours, textures and backgrounds.
I focus on creating images whose inspiration often comes from my travels in Eastern and Western Europe, North America, and in Africa, India, Australia and Asia."

I am largely self taught and my style and imagination has developed and grown in strength particularly over the last five years, although I do have City and Guilds qualifications in Textile Art, Creative and Machine Embroidery.
If you walk by a piece of my work you will often find something else in it which is beyond the early impression you may have had ... a new colour, a subtle image or you may realise that a building, a door, the background or text is within the image.
The creation of my website alongside

is the next stage in the development of my art.
